Applications are open for participation in the Global Cultural Relations Program-2021.

The Global Cultural Links Program is the Platform's flagship curriculum for Cultural Links, which provides a unique opportunity for innovators in the field of international cultural relations. It promotes the development of skills in international cultural relations through a carefully designed interactive training program and interaction with professionals from around the world.

The Cultural Relations Platform is a European Union-funded project designed to support the EU's participation in international cultural relations. Its mission is to strengthen the ability of the European Union to interact constructively with various stakeholders in partner countries by expanding cultural ties and cultural cooperation, and promoting sustainable cultural exchange. It was launched in April 2020.

The training will take place online from 15 to 30 November. The deadline for applications is October 4, 2021. To participate, you must fill out the appropriate application form, provide information about your professional experience, and explain how you meet the above criteria.

In recent years, the European Union has largely strengthened its commitment to International Cultural Relations (ICR).

In 2016, the "EU Strategy for International Cultural Relations" was developed. In the same year, the Cultural Diplomacy Platform by the European Commission's Foreign Policy Instruments Service was launched to support EU institutions in implementing this new strategy.

In May 2018, the European Commission adopted the New European Cultural Agenda.

“Culture is a very important tool for dialogue, mutual understanding and overcoming misconceptions,” said Silvio Gonzato, Ambassador, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to the United Nations.
