23 football players form the major league clubs were included in the youth team of Turkmenistan (aged under 23), which starts today the Asian Cup — 2022 qualifying campaign in Amman.

The team of Turkmenistan, under the leadership of the 42 aged well-known coach Ahmet Agamuradov, prepared in Ashgabat to the starting qualifying tournament, where our football players will have to play in group “F” with teams of Jordan and Palestine.

The cup tournament is held for the fifth time; 42 teams divided into 11 groups will compete for the Youth Asian Cup-2022.

The winners of each group, and the best four second-placed teams with highest scores will gain the right to play in the final.

The football players of Uzbekistan as a host team will join to them in the final tournament, which will be held on 1 - 19 June, 2022 in Tashkent.

The Asian Cup on football among the players under 23 has been holding since 2013. Earlier, the holder of this trophy became the youth teams of Uzbekistan, Republic of Korea, Japan and Iraq.
