Celebrated on the second Sunday in November, the holiday marks the end of the harvest, farming and cotton harvesting season, so the main celebrations will be dedicated to agricultural workers, farmers, farmers, agronomists, breeders and other workers in the agricultural industry.

Traditionally, on the occasion of a significant event, exhibitions of achievements of domestic farmers are held in all velayats of the country, where the successes of the current year are covered in detail.

Every year, the leaders of the cotton harvest try to improve production indicators, making a worthy contribution to the country's economy.

The rates of growing and harvesting fruit and vegetable crops have increased. Thus, the farmers of the Murghab Valley have reaped a rich harvest of sugar beet, and by increasing greenhouse farms, agricultural producers of Turkmenistan have doubled the export of greenhouses. This year, over 32 thousand tons of Turkmen tomatoes were exported to the Russian Federation Turkmen tomatoes.

This year, 8100 hectares of land were allocated for rice fields, which allowed the farmers of the Dashoguz velayat to collect a good harvest of elite rice varieties, among them «Müňbaşy», «Nöküs-2», «Alenga» and «Bereketli».

The key agricultural sectors - livestock and poultry - have also improved the performance of raising and fattening livestock. Compared to last year, the country has increased the number of cattle, sheep, camels and birds. Today, modern poultry farms are being built in different parts of the country poultry farms capable of growing and supplying to Turkmen markets up to 30 tons of poultry meat per year.

Significant success in ensuring the country's food abundance is achieved thanks to the care and comprehensive support of the head of state. The radical transformations carried out in agriculture allow farmers and rural workers to delight with rich harvests, making a significant contribution to the prosperity of our state.
