The Garabogazkarbamid plant is one of the many manufacturing enterprises that marked 2021 with labor achievements. The plant is located in the city of Garabogaz, Turkmenbashi etrap, Balkan velayat.

As is known, the state pays great attention to industrial processing and production of competitive goods on the foreign market from hydrocarbons, which our country has huge reserves, and for this noble purpose it directs large investments into the industry. And within the framework of such undertakings, the Garabogazkarbamid plant was built, which makes a worthy contribution to the development of the chemical industry of the country's economy. The urea produced at the plant is primarily focused on foreign consumers.

The high demand for this fertilizer in the domestic and foreign markets allowed the enterprise, where production relies on high technologies and scientific developments, to complete 2021 with high performance. Last year, 989 thousand 111 tons of urea and 570 thousand 466 tons of liquid ammonia were produced here, which serves as a raw material for this fertilizer. It should be noted that out of 967 thousand 886 tons of urea sent to consumers, 455 thousand 114 tons were sold on foreign markets.

Urea fertilizer is exported to such countries as the Russian Federation , Great Britain , Turkey , Uzbekistan , Afghanistan , Iran , Kazakhstan .

The state effectively and rationally using the country's natural resources, is carrying out large-scale work to increase the production of mineral fertilizers necessary for the agro-industrial complex of the national economy.
