The modern greenhouse facility in the city of Turkmenbashi in the Balkan velayat is one of the six greenhouse complexes that were put into operation at the same time last year. The farm belongs to Sapardurdy Nazliyev, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Currently, the greenhouses occupy four hectares of area, where about thirty people work. Last year, 400 tons of tomatoes were grown here and sold on the domestic and foreign markets. After picking tomatoes, the entrepreneur prepared a greenhouse for growing bell peppers. Thus, in August last year, several types of this crop were planted here.

In order to save water, excess water from greenhouses is supplied by special outlets to the area where almond trees were planted on five hectares. Next year they will begin to give the first harvest. Before the beginning of summer, they plan to collect more than 200 tons of bell pepper here. Inspired by the care and support of the state, the entrepreneur plans to export these products to the foreign market in the near future.
