The State Children's Library of Turkmenistan named after B. Amanova is one of the oldest in the country which is not only the guardian of the rich book collections of children's literature - 251038 copies of books, but also the main methodical center of children's and school libraries of Turkmenistan. The systematic work of the library is to work to attract and deepen interests of younger generation in reading, to promote the best of literature, promotion of spiritual and cultural heritage of the nation, its historical past and upbringing patriotic feelings.
In the summer holidays, the work of the library has not been ceased. Library staff visits the children's health centers and pre-school summer playgrounds, organizing lectures and interactive educational activities: children's drawing competitions, thematic discussions, reading aloud favorite children works. And, of course, not a single meeting with young readers goes without transportable exhibition of children's library.
Within the library there is children's art club, the goal of which is to organize leisure of children with benefits to instill a sense of beauty and harmony, learn to use a variety of art and applied art, such as sculpture, painting, applique, papier-mache, sew toys, and many others. Even in the hottest day children try not to miss classes. Once in the club, I am fascinated by the variety, colorful and spectacular performance of the children's work. In the new academic year, classes will take place in the club and be conducted 3 times a week, taking into account the school schedule of children.
The kids really like creative meetings with children's authors, so the library professionals are often invited by the favorite authors as Hemra Shirov and Atageldy Allanazarov.

Amanova, Gulya Tashliyeva. -Kids love such meetings, and in the new academic year, we will continue our cooperation with writers, artists, musicians, performers of folk songs. Our library is always open for young readers: here they can get acquainted not only with the interesting books but also with a friendly participation.
