Davut Nazmyradov, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of International Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan won gold medal.

As part of the National Karatedo Team of Turkmenistan, Davut took part in the international sports tournament International Banzai Cup Berlin 2022, which was held from September 3 to 4 in Berlin. This year, a major sports tournament brought together over 1,200 athletes from more than three dozen countries around the world.

The athlete of the national team of Turkmenistan won the gold medal as a result of participation in karatedo competitions in the weight category up to 75 kg. In addition, Davut was also awarded a two silver medals at the site of sports competitions. It should be noted that the gold and silver medals from the tournament in Berlin are far from the first awards of our athlete. Davut's collection of sporting achievements has already accumulated cups and medals of various denominations brought from prestigious international competitions from Turkey, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Chile and Italy.

Turkmen athletes are active and regular participants, winners and prize-winners of various international sports competitions. The development of sports, physical culture, promotion of a healthy lifestyle is an invariable priority of the state policy in Turkmenistan. On this basis, the country creates all the necessary conditions, provides ample opportunities for sports, which contributes to the development of a mass sports movement, the achievement of high results and success in this area.
