Robotics competitions held in Ashgabat

On November 12th and 13th, two-day competitions in robotics were held at the Specialized Secondary School No. 87 in Ashgabat, in which pupils of this school, students of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakaev, students of military schools, as well as students of secondary school No. 97 took part.

The "Technology and Education Show" or, as the young technicians called it, "Robofest", included three nominations: "Japanese Sumo", "Labyrinth" and "Group Design".

In addition, exhibitions of creative works were organized at the competition site, children's handmade, national cuisine, stands dedicated to the subjects of the school curriculum - chemistry, biology, computer technology were presented.

Boys and girls began to prepare for competitions long before the announcement of the tournament. They experimented with creating their own robots, studied software that would allow them to connect robot models with computers and mobile phones.

Today, the educational institutions of Turkmenistan actively use the possibilities of digital technologies, which help schoolchildren and students to study more efficiently. According to teachers, the introduction of modern technologies into the educational process has significantly increased the level of computer knowledge among students.

Students can apply their knowledge in practice at interschool competitions and Olympiads. As we return to the "Robofest", we note that in the nomination "Japanese sumo" the first place was taken by a cadet of Berdimuhamed Annaev Specialized Military School #1 Ahmetyar Charyev.

In the "Labyrinth" nomination, the student of the Specialized Secondary School No. 87, Mahir Jovadov, won the championship. In the "Group Design" students of the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas were distinguished.

Robotics competitions were held with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Dana Educational Center and Specialized Secondary School No. 87. The event was timed to coincide with the upcoming celebration of the 27th anniversary of the neutrality of Turkmenistan.
