On naming educational, healthcare, cultural institutions and an art monument built in the new, modern administrative center of the Akhal Velayat after outstanding personalities of the Turkmen people.

Under the leadership of highly respected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov, in the period of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the “National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of the housing and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers” is successfully implemented.

In the new, modern administrative center of the Akhal Velayat, on the initiative and thanks to the talent of our Hero Arkadag in the field of urban planning and architectural art, educational, healthcare, cultural institutions and other facilities equipped in accordance with modern requirements have been built and put into operation.

In the current period of restoration and in-depth study of ancient history, unique traditions and rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, and the people’s spiritual revival, the services of individuals who have made a significant contribution to political, socio-economic and cultural development of our country at various times, and their names are eternalized. The work and life path of famous personalities, who showed an excellent example of faithful service to their Homeland and people, who devoted all their knowledge and experience to the prosperity of our country, is a role model for the present-day youth.

Strictly adhering to the precepts of respect for our glorious ancestors, educating the younger generation in the spirit of pride for our Homeland, fostering the inspired and physically healthy youth, taking into account the merits in development of education, science, healthcare and culture, as well as the petition of the Akhal Velayat Khyakimlik, the submission of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, and in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On the procedure for naming state enterprises, organizations, institutions, geographical and other objects, and their renaming”, the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan resolves to:

Name educational, healthcare, cultural institutions and an art monument built in the new, modern administrative center of the Akhal Velayat after the following personalities:

1. The children’s health-improving and rehabilitation center is to be named after Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and will henceforth be the “Health-improving and rehabilitation center named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov”.

2. The art monument built in the central park is to be named after prominent politician of our epoch, great son of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Hero Arkadag, and will henceforth be the “Arkadag Monument”.

3. The international higher educational institution of horse breeding is to be named after famous trainer-mentor, skillful horse breeder Aba Annaev, who created the pedigree line of Akhalteke horses, famous throughout the world, and will henceforth be the “Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding”.

4. The secondary vocational teachers’ training institution is to be named after hardworking and talented teacher, bright patriot, courageous warrior, respected person, determined fighter for humanity and justice Berdimuhamed Annayev, and will henceforth be the “Akhal Velayat Teachers’ Training Secondary Vocational School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev”.

5. The secondary vocational medical educational institution is to be named after outstanding personality, who received several state awards, Doctor of Medical Sciences Sachly Dursunova, and will henceforth be the “Akhal Velayat Medical Secondary Vocational School named after Sachly Dursunova”.

6. The Akhal Equestrian Circus Assign is to be named after national hero of the Turkmen people Gorogly, who went down in history as an example of courage and bravery, and will henceforth be the “Gorogly State Equestrian Circus of the Akhal Velayat”.

7. The velayat library is to be named after classic poet, poet-thinker of the Turkmen people Dovletmammed Azadi, who glorified the principles of humanism, unity, justice, peace, left a perfect example of moral beauty as a heritage to generations, and created the famous work “Wagzy-azat”, and will henceforth be the “Akhal Velayat Library named after Dovletmammed Azadi”.

8. The Drama Theater is to be named after one of the founders of the Turkmen theatrical art, famous artist, director and playwright, laureate of the International Prize of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly Aman Gulmammedov, and will henceforth be the “Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theater of the Akhal Velayat”.

9. The specialized school of arts is to be named after great art worker, mentor-bakhshi, composer, one of the founders of the musical and song art of the Akhal direction, national bakhshi of Turkmenistan, laureate of the International Prize of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly Sakhy Jepbarov, and will henceforth be the “Akhal Velayat Specialized School of Arts named after Sakhy Jepbarov “.

10. The children’s art school is to be named after skillful musician of the Turkmen people Shukur bakhshi, who left an indelible mark in the history of the national song and music art, and will henceforth be the “Akhal Velayat Children’s Art School named after Shukur bakhshi”.
