Electricity generation at the new production facilities of the Balkanabat State Power Plant has tripled over the years of independence.

As a result, this station has become the leading gas turbine facility for the production of electricity in the country.

According to the final results of last year, the enterprise generated a little more than 2.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electrical energy, which was uninterruptedly supplied to the population. This proves that the work plan for the last year was fulfilled by 108.4 percent.

The Balkanabat State Power Plant also occupies a worthy place in strengthening the power supply not only of the western region, but of the entire velayat. Like every year, the past 2022, Balkanabat power engineers managed to complete high production rates.

Electric energy generated at the station in large quantities fully provides the western region of the country.

Excess electricity is also sent to the country's unified power supply system.
