Issues of simplification of operations for transit and bilateral international road freight transportation from the territory of Turkmenistan were discussed during the meeting of employees of the State Customs Service of the country with representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan.

The parties considered the possibility of using the digitization of the international road transport book for international road transport, as well as providing preliminary information about the cargo.

The embassy employees got acquainted with the activities of the customs point "Artyk" on the Turkmen-Iranian state border, created by modern conditions for the high-quality implementation of customs procedures. In particular, they received information about the digital system in customs procedures, customs clearance and the work of "green corridors".

During the meeting, the results of the use of benefits for drivers of the Republic of Turkey in Turkmenistan were positively assessed.
