Specialists of the Kunya-Urgench State Historical and Cultural Reserve restored a part of the carved terracotta on the front facade portal of Najmeddin Kubra Mausoleum and protected the upper part of the portal.

Along with the other architectural and historical monuments of ancient Kunya-Urgench, the Mausoleum of Najmeddin Kubra was included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. This is one of the four most beautiful monuments of architecture of the XIV century preserved on the territory of the Reserve.

The mausoleum includes four dome premises. Among them are the entrance hall, two similar rooms and gurhana (shrine), where local specialists also partially restored a tombstone.

The scientific and literary heritage of Najmeddin Kubra significantly contributed to the development of the world science and culture. The thinker, well known as an expert in philosophy, philology, medicine and politics, created a number of treatises and inspired rubais.
