From 21st to 31st of August 2023, at the Arkadag customs, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan is holding a special training event for the reserve of military personnel for responsible leadership positions in the customs authorities on the practical use of all the possibilities of digital resources, the study of legal and financial issues of customs activities.
The event was organized with the aim of comprehensive training of military personnel for responsible positions, in-depth interpretation of the newly adopted legislation and future work to improve the quality of service to citizens.
Training sessions according to a specially approved plan are conducted mainly by experienced customs officers. The training will cover such topics as the political significance of the books of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, legal reforms, the basic principles of the work of the State Customs Service, the significance of the Law of Turkmenistan «On ethics and official conduct of a civil servant», the organization of business in customs authorities, foreign economic transactions and their types, including customs duties and taxes paid to the customs authorities and other matters.
The purpose of such training events with military personnel who will occupy leadership positions in the customs authorities in the future is to improve their professional training and legal literacy.
