Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats to discuss issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of work in the regions of the country.
The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hodjagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.
As was reported, currently, active preparation of cotton ginning enterprises, collection points, combine harvesters and motor vehicles for transporting the gathered crops is underway in order to conduct the harvesting campaign in an organized manner, and measures are taken for a high-level ceremonial sending of the “white caravan” planned in the velayat for September 9 with the blessing of the President of the country.
At the same time, agricultural machinery to be operated in wheat sowing is put in order, grain growers are provided with high-quality seed material, and preparations are underway for events to celebrate the start of sowing.
Fields sown to potatoes, vegetables, watermelons, melons and other crops are treated in accordance with agro-technical standards.
The report also covered the construction pace of social and industrial infrastructure facilities, preparations for holding cultural events on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Homeland’s independence.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of the seasonal field campaigns in progress today, ordering to keep under constant control the preparations for wheat sowing in order to complete it within the agro-technical terms, the supply of high-quality seeds to farmers, and the organization of the cotton harvest campaign.
Along with this, the velayat khyakim was instructed to ensure the high-quality construction work at the facilities planned for commissioning on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the country’s independence.
The head of state released Deputy Khyakim of Ak Bugday etrap of the Akhal Velayat S. Chopanov from the temporarily performing the duties of the khyakim and appointed R. Jumaev to this position, signing the relevant documents.
Then, Balkan Velayat Khyakim H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the course of agricultural campaigns in the fields of the region.
Currently, measures are taken to prepare agricultural machinery to be operated in wheat sowing, to supply grain growers with high-quality seeds, and to prepare for the solemn start of winter wheat sowing.
Along with this, ginning enterprises, collection points, and combine harvesters are prepared for the cotton harvest season. Preparations were taken with the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan for the solemn ceremony of launching the harvesting campaign.
Along with this, care is taken for potatoes and other crops in accordance with the agro-technical requirements.

The head of state dismissed A. Esenov from the post of Khyakim of Esenguly etrap of the Balkan Velayat for the failure to fulfill his official duties and appointed S. Hodjaev to this position, releasing him from the post of Deputy Khyakim of Turkmenbashy etrap of the Balkan Velayat.
The President of Turkmenistan dismissed R. Nuryev from the post of Khyakim of Etrek etrap for the failure to fulfill his official duties and appointed D. Meredov to this position, signing the relevant documents.

As was reported, at present planning and charge watering are under way in the fields in order to prepare for wheat sowing. Measures are taken to prepare agricultural machinery to be operated in the upcoming responsible season, as well as to supply farmers with high-quality seeds.

The President of Turkmenistan dismissed V. Meretamanov from the post of Deputy Khyakim of Akdepe etrap for the failure to fulfill his official duties and appointed B. Babadjikov to this position.
The head of state also released M. Atakeev from performing the duties of Deputy Khyakim of Kunyaurgench etrap and appointed G. Muhammedov as the Khyakim of this etrap, signing the relevant documents.

The preparation of agricultural machinery and high-quality wheat seeds continues.
Cotton ginning enterprises and collection points, scales, combine harvesters and motor vehicles for transporting the harvested crop and other equipment are fully prepared for the cotton harvest campaign.
Guided by the objectives outlined by the President of Turkmenistan to produce bountiful harvests of potatoes, vegetables, watermelons, melons and other crops, as well as to maintain food abundance in the country, special attention is paid to the care for these crops in the velayats.
Care for rice fields in the Dashoguz and Lebap Velayats is in progress, as well as for sugar beets in the Mary Velayat.
Having heard the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of organized and high-quality implementation of all agricultural activities, including wheat sowing and cotton harvest campaign, within the established agro-technical terms in this busy time for farmers. All agencies involved must function in coordination. In this regard, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the deputy prime minister to keep all work under strict control.
The head of state also ordered to ensure that care for the plantations of potatoes and other crops are carried out in strict compliance with the established deadlines and agricultural standards.
The President of the country appointed B. Ataev and G. Ataev as Deputy Ministers of Agriculture, and N. Jumashov and B. Miminov as Deputy Ministers of Environmental Protection.
The head of state also dismissed Deputy Director General of the State Association “Turkmen atlary” D. Bailyev for the failure to fulfill his official duties, appointing E. Babalyev to this position, and signing the relevant documents.
The participants in the working meeting via a digital system expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for blessing the start of wheat sowing and cotton harvesting.
Addressing the working meeting participants, the head of state pointed out the need for a responsible approach to conducting seasonal campaigns, instructing to organize solemn ceremonies for the start of sowing and harvesting campaigns at a high level.
