Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats, during which issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of work in the regions of the country, were discussed.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As was reported, work is currently under way to complete the wheat sowing within the established agro-technical deadlines. Agricultural machinery and equipment are operated effectively, and vegetative irrigation is carried out in the fields with germinating sprouts.

At the same time, measures are taken to speed up the cotton harvest in order to gather cotton crop without losses, and timely payments are made to cotton growers for the delivered products.

The report included information was on the construction progress social and industrial facilities under the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of the seasonal field campaigns being conducted today, ordering to keep under constant control the work on wheat sowing, proper treatment of the sown fields, and harvesting the cotton crop without losses and within the prescribed time limits.

The head of state also gave specific instructions to the khyakim to keep under strict control the construction progress of various facilities ongoing as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028, which are scheduled for commissioning this year.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov communicated that in order to successfully implement the provisions set in the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028”, including the development of regions and improving the living standard of the population, a draft Decree “On the construction of buildings and facilities in the city of Arkadag” had been prepared.

Having signed the Decree, the head of state said that the successful implementation of the measures provided for in this document will contribute to creating new jobs, will expand the participation of members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the reforms ongoing in the country, and will also give a powerful impetus to the further improvement of the social and living conditions of citizens.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the state of affairs in the region.

As was reported, the fields had been sown to winter wheat in accordance with agro-technical standards, and vegetative irrigation is carried out to achieve event sprouting in the sown areas. At the same time, agricultural machinery is operated at full capacity.

Appropriate work is under way in the velayat to complete the cotton harvest campaign up to the mark, and ensure timely payment to farmers for the gathered seed cotton.

The report covered the construction pace of various facilities being built under the country’s socio-economic development program for 2022-2028, to be commissioned the current year.

Having heard the report, the head of state emphasized that high-quality sowing of wheat is the basis for a next year’s bountiful crop. In this regard, the khyakim was instructed to keep under strict control the progress of sowing wheat in accordance with agro-technical deadlines, the treatment of sown areas, and cotton harvesting without losses.

Along with this, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions to ensure high quality construction of social and industrial facilities ongoing as part of the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued with a report delivered by Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov on the progress of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As was reported, sowing of winter crops is carried out in accordance with agro-technical standards. The first even sprouting had been achieved in the sown fields, and watering of the fields allocated for sowing wheat had been completed. Necessary measures are taken to ensure uninterrupted operation of agricultural machinery and equipment.

At the same time, all necessary steps are taken for gathering and delivery of cotton to collection points, as well as timely payment to producers for the seed cotton delivered.

In addition, rice harvesting is carried out in the velayat in an organized manner.

The report included information on a situation at the construction sites of the velayat, in particular with regard to facilities to be commissioned the ongoing year as part of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the need to take a responsible approach to carrying out agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards, and gave the khyakim specific instructions to ensure wheat sowing within the time agro-technical frame specified, harvest seed cotton without losses and in the shortest possible time, as well as organized rice arvesting.

In addition, the head of state ordered to keep under strict control the construction of social and industrial facilities in progress as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 to be commissioned the current year.

Then the Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal field work in the region.

As was reported, work is carried out in the velayat to sow wheat in compliance with the necessary requirements, timely completion of vegetative irrigation of fields sown to grain and achieving event sprouting, and operating agricultural machinery and equipment at full capacity.

At the same time, the cotton harvest continues to complete it within a short period of time and without losses, and seed cotton is sent to collection points. Timely payments are made to producers for the harvest delivered.

Along with this, rice harvesting is under way in the velayat.

The khyakim also reported on the construction progress ongoing under the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program at various facilities scheduled for opening this year. In this regard, the report covered the reconstruction of a 154-bed clinic in Danev city, Dyanev etrap, and a 150-bed hospital in Sayat city, Sayat etrap, which are fully ready to operate.

Having heard the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of carrying out seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards. In this context, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to keep under strict control the pace of sowing, watering and caring for wheat sprouts in compliance with the agro-technical requirements, as well as issues related to the cotton and rice harvesting progress, having given a number of specific instructions to the khyakim.

The governor of the region was also instructed to ensure high quality construction of social and industrial facilities being built as part of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028. The khyakim was charged with organizing high-level celebrations on the occasion of commissioning the reconstructed clinics in the velayat.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim B. Orazov reported on the progress of agricultural work in the fields of the region.

As was reported, in order to successfully fulfill the assignments of the head of state to ensure food abundance in the country, wheat sowing is carried out in the velayat according to plan. At the same time, vegetative irrigation of sown areas is under way, where event sprouts are already germinating, and agricultural machinery and equipment are operated at full capacity.

The work to gather cotton without losses continues in the fields of the region, and the harvested crop is sent to collection points and cotton ginning plants. Timely payments are made to tenants for seed cotton delivered to the state.

At the same time, sugar beets are gathered and processed.

The khyakim also reported on the construction progress at socio-cultural and industrial facilities ongoing under the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028, scheduled for commissioning by the end of this year.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of organized and timely completion of all seasonal agricultural operations. The head of state ordered to keep under strict control wheat sowing within the agro-technical terms, proper care for crops, harvesting cotton without losses, as well as sugar beets, giving the velayat khyakim a number of specific instructions.

In addition, instructions were given to ensure high quality construction of various facilities being built as part of the country’s socio-economic development program for 2022-2028, which are scheduled for commissioning this year.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, reported on the progress of agricultural work throughout the country.

Before reporting, the deputy prime minister expressed sincere gratitude to the head of state for signing the Decree “On the construction of buildings and facilities in the city of Arkadag”, cordially congratulating the Hero Arkadag Serdar and the Hero Arkadag on this historic decision.

Moreover, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers cordially congratulated, on behalf of workers in the agro-industrial complex, the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty on the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan, wishing the Hero Arkadag Serdar and the Hero Arkadag sound health, long years of life and great success in their noble activities for the benefit of the country and the people.

Then the deputy prime minister reported on the agricultural work ongoing in the velayats of the country. As was reported, the winter wheat sowing season for next year’s crop is in progress, and all available machinery and equipment are operated at full capacity. Along with this, vegetative irrigation of areas sown to grain is carried out.

Relevant work is also under way out to gather cotton at an accelerated pace and without losses.

Payments for seed cotton delivered to the state are made in a timely manner, and measures are taken to deliver the harvested crop to collection points and ginning plants.

The deputy prime minister also reported that rice harvesting is carried out in an organized manner in the Dashoguz and Lebap Velayats, and sugar beets are gathered in the Mary Velayat.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the objectives facing the agro-industrial complex and instructed the deputy prime minister to keep under strict control the issues related to sowing wheat within the established agro-technical deadlines, ensuring the coordinated work of all organizations involved in harvesting cotton, as well as rice and sugar beets.

At the same time, the head of state gave the deputy prime minister specific instructions to ensure the timely gathering of vegetables, watermelons, melons and other agricultural crops, and care for next year’s crops in accordance with agro-technical standards.

Then, addressing the working meeting participants, the President of Turkmenistan once again stressed the importance of agricultural work ongoing currently in compliance with agro-technical deadlines and their completion at a high organizational level.
