The national flag of the country is installed on the territory of the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan, which will be built as part of the World Expo 2025 in the Japanese city of Osaka.

The flag installation ceremony took place during the visit of the Turkmenistan delegation led by the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Begench Gochmollayev to Japan on the 14th to 16th of November.

A plot of land for the construction of the National Pavilion was officially allocated to Turkmenistan first among other countries participating in EXPO 2025. Accordingly, Turkmenistan was the first to plant its National Flag on the territory of EXPO 2025 on the artificial island of Yumeshima.

The leaders of the Japan Association of the World Expo 2025 and the Belli Economic Society, the contractor that will build the Turkmen pavilion, also took part in the flag installation ceremony.
