A working meeting, held at the Mary velayat customs, focused on the rules of customs control of goods transported by railway. This information is reported on the official website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

Particular emphasis was made on cargoes transported in wagons and containers sealed with locking and sealing devices.

The meeting involved specialists of the Mary customs and representatives of the branch of the Open Joint Stock Company "Railways".

The participants were presented the rules of customs control of railway transportation in Turkmenistan, as well as the relevant legislative acts in this area. There were proposed ways to optimize customs control for the movement of goods transported by railway.

During the meeting, it was noted that such interagency cooperation allows for the formulation of new approaches to ensuring the safity of cargo transportation in Turkmenistan.
