The agricultural workers of Lebap velayat, finishing the outgoing 2023 with labor successes, continue to lay the foundations for the future harvest.

Currently, the areas freed from harvest are plowed in accordance with agricultural technology standards, which is the main condition for obtaining a rich harvest. To date, more than 50 thousand hectares of land have already been plowed in the velayat, or about 40% of the total area intended for plowing.

160 units of tractors are involved in this important agricultural activity. The average productivity of each of them is 10-11 hectares per day.

Land leveling is carried out in parallel with plowing, which involves more than 90 units of powerful agricultural machinery. Halach, Sayat and Hojambaz etraps of the velayat show good results in this matter. In Halach etrap, more than 50% of the land has already been plowed for sowing cotton. The high organizational level of agricultural work carried out in the velayat will promote obtaining a rich cotton harvest in 2024.
