On January 27, the country celebrates Defender of the Fatherland Day. It is noteworthy that the cadets of the State Border Service Institute were the first visitors of the exhibition, dedicated to this date, at the State Museum of Fine Arts.

Turkmenistan is a peaceful country, and a large part of the defense of the Fatherland is entrusted to border guards who protect the borders of our homeland. Therefore, the sculpture "Border Guard with a Shepherd Dog" by Artur Abramov became the exhibit that opened the exhibition. The painting "On Guard" by Stanislav Babikov tells about the border guards who carry out daily patrols of the state border.

Horseback riders traverse mountain trails, professionally assessing the inviolability of the border. It is characteristic that this painting is done in the style of post-impressionism. Stanislav Babikov had the ability to see any phenomenon in our life in his own way, so the paintings of this artist always attract the attention of art lovers and connoisseurs.

The painting "Border Guard's Family" by Yakup Annanurov is presented in the realistic genre. The painting exudes the happiness of a strong and united family - it is this reliable support that helps men conscientiously fulfill their duty of protecting the homeland, of which his loving family is a part.

Other art pieces of the exhibition are dedicated to the heroes who repelled the enemy's attack on our country. The mobilizing call "Hurray!" is heard from the mouth of the hero of the sculpture by Alexey Shetinin, fiercely rushing at the enemy and inspiring others with his own example.

Another work by this author is the sculpture "Victory". The artist sculpted a warrior rejoicing in the long-awaited and hard-won victory. Velmyrat Jumaev presented an impressive sculptural composition "Winners".

According to Velmyrat, winners are not only the brave warriors fighting on the front lines, but also their families who anxiously and hopefully awaited their husbands and fathers for four years. The composition is highlighted by the front-line soldier's daughter, who is filled with pride for her hero father and happiness that he will now be with them every day. The painting "Mom, We Came Back with Victory!" by Gulnazar Begmyradov can be called "speaking". Two sons - with orders on their chests - have returned to their village. Like a bird, the mother extends her arms-wings to them, and in a fraction of a second, she will embrace her precious "chicks".

The moment captured by the artist is the greatest happiness a person can experience. In my opinion, this is one of the best paintings on the theme of defending the Fatherland.
