The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan is carrying out systematic work to simplify customs conditions for export goods, their effective registration in a unified customs information system, automatic implementation of customs payments, and filling out documents using digital systems. This will make it possible to speed up customs procedures for goods shipped from the country to foreign markets, which is especially important for perishable goods.

Turkmen entrepreneurs are actively taking advantage of the optimized opportunities to undergo customs procedures, seeking to contribute to the implementation of programs to increase national exports, in particular, producers of fresh fruits and vegetables. These include the individual enterprise «Altyn tug» located in Dashoguz velayat, which grows various varieties of greenhouse tomatoes, bell peppers, and strawberries all year round.

The agricultural complex with an area of 12 hectares is equipped with fifth-generation technologies that can significantly minimize operating costs and significantly increase the yield of grown vegetables, a significant part of which is exported to neighboring countries. This year, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan strives to further expand export opportunities for all participants in foreign economic activity, increase their awareness of customs administration and export legislation, and compliance with requirements when moving goods across the border.
