On the 5th of  March,, the first flight of «Turkmenistan Airlines» departed from the International Airport of the Turkmen capital on the route Ashgabat - Ho Chi Minh City - Ashgabat.

The Boeing 777-200LR airliner successfully landed at the airport of the largest city in southern Vietnam. The first passengers of the new flight received a warm welcome and congratulations from the host side.

In order to expand opportunities for the development of trade, economic and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Vietnam, the national air carrier will operate regular flights to Ho Chi Minh City twice a week.

On the 6th of March, the B737-800 airliner of «Turkmenistan Airlines» landed in Milan, Italy.

The ceremony marking the launch of the new flight, held at Malpensa International Airport, was attended by local officials, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Italy Toyly Komekov and a representative of «Turkmenistan Airlines».
