Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahalliyev and velayat khyakims to review the progress of seasonal field work in the country.

The first word was given to the khyakim of Ahal velayat, R.Hojagulyev, who reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, the grain harvest has now begun in the velayat. In this regard, measures are being taken for its organized implementation, the effective use of agricultural machinery and units, as well as the unimpeded transportation of the harvested crop to receiving points.

In fields sown with cotton, thinning, weeding, feeding with mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering of plants are carried out in accordance with agro-technical requirements.

At the same time, work continues to care for and collect grown potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops and deliver these products to the country’s markets.

In addition, information was provided on preparations for events on the occasion of Science Day, as well as on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is planned for this year.

After hearing the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov identified among the priority tasks the holding of the grain harvest season at the proper organizational level, care of the cotton fields in strict accordance with agro-technical standards, addressing specific instructions to the khyakim.

Instructions were also given regarding the quality of construction of facilities for various purposes in accordance with the country’s socio-economic development programs, which are scheduled to open this year.

Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat, H.Ashyrmyradov, reported on the state of affairs in the region.

The head of the regional administration, first of all, on behalf of the happy and hardworking population of the velayat, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag for the opening of the Arkadagly nesiller children’s cultural and entertainment center in Magtymguly etrap and the gift – medical equipment for hemodialysis of the Dialog+ brand, purchased at the expense of the Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and wished Arkadaghly Hero Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people good health, long life and great success in work for the benefit of the people of Turkmenistan and the country.

As noted further, on these days, in order to collect the grown grain harvest without loss, appropriate preparations are being made for the organizational holding of the grain harvest campaign.

In the fields sown with cotton in the velayat, thinning, weeding, replenishment with mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering of plants are carried out. In this regard, steps are being taken to effectively use agricultural machinery and equipment.

At the same time, in order to successfully implement the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to strengthen food abundance in the country, harvesting continues on the farmlands of the velayat with potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops.

It was also reported on preparations for events dedicated to the widely celebrated Science Day in the country, the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development program in 2022–2028, the commissioning of which is planned this year.

Summarizing the report, the head of state focused on the importance of the currently ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns and ordered to ensure timely care of the cotton plant, as well as control over the organized grain harvest.

At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan gave instructions to keep under review compliance with the timing and quality of construction of facilities for various purposes within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs, the opening of which is scheduled for this year.

The working meeting continued with a report from the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat S.Soltanmyradov on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

First of all, the khyakim, on behalf of the residents of the region, expressed immense gratitude to the head of state and Hero-Arkadag for the commissioning of the high-voltage power line Balkan-Dashoguz and a 500-kilovolt power substation, for gifts – modern passenger buses, a new complex of residential buildings, as well as medical equipment, purchased at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, wishing good health, longevity and further success in noble endeavors aimed at the prosperity of the country and people.

Then the khyakim reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region.

As reported, measures have been taken to properly prepare for the start of the wheat harvest and harvest without loss.

In the fields sown with cotton in the velayat, thinning, weeding, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation continue in accordance with agro-technical standards. These works are performed using agricultural machinery and units.

Along with this, the harvest of potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops is in full swing in the region in order to meet the population’s demand for these products.

Also in the velayat, rice sowing continues, the harvest of which is planned to be reaped this year.

In addition, the khyakim reported on preparations for the celebration of Science Day, as well as on the state of affairs in the construction of social and industrial facilities in accordance with the National Rural Program, which are planned to be opened in the velayat this year.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the important requirement of the day is to harvest the wheat crop in a timely manner and without loss, to comply with agro-technical standards when caring for cotton and rice crops, giving the khyakim a number of instructions.

The head of state also ordered to keep under control the quality and timing of the construction of facilities for various purposes, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work.

As noted, a grain harvesting campaign is underway in the region, everything necessary is being done to transport the harvested wheat crop to receiving points without loss. At the same time, plowing is carried out in the vacated areas.

On the farmlands of the velayat sown with cotton, work is being carried out to apply mineral fertilizers and vegetative irrigation.

Also on the agricultural areas, along with caring for spring crops, the harvest of potatoes is being harvested and supplied to the population.

The region is plowing and leveling land intended for rice sowing.

In addition, it was reported on preparations for the ceremonial events dedicated to Science Day, the pace of construction work on social and industrial facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of harvesting the grain harvest grown by hardworking farmers on time and without loss, caring for the cotton plant in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, instructing the khyakim to keep under review the work in this direction, as well as preparation for sowing rice.

In addition, instructions were given to ensure the quality and timely completion of construction of facilities for various purposes, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year.

Further, khyakim of Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, the region is currently taking the necessary measures to carry out the wheat harvest at the proper level, to effectively use grain harvesters and vehicles for grain transportation, as well as to ensure the uninterrupted operation of receiving points.

Thinning, weeding, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation of cotton crops continue.

In order to fulfill the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to provide the population with food products manufactured in the country, appropriate steps are being taken to collect grown potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops, as well as to provide the population with these products.

Along with this, areas for sowing sugar beets have now been identified in the velayat, and plowing and land leveling are being carried out in the fields cleared of wheat.

The khyakim reported on the preparatory work being carried out for events on the occasion of the celebration of Science Day, as well as on the progress of construction of objects for various purposes within the framework of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period until 2028 years, which are scheduled to open this year.

After listening to the report, the head of state emphasized the priority tasks facing farmers, emphasizing the importance of taking all necessary measures to deliver the wheat harvest to the state without loss. The khyakim was given a number of specific instructions regarding the care of cotton crops at a high-quality level and in compliance with agro-technical standards, as well as appropriate preparation for sowing sugar beets.

As noted, with the blessing of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the wheat harvest began in Ahal, Lebap and Mary velayats, proper work is being carried out to collect grain and uninterrupted transportation of the harvest to receiving points.

In areas sown with cotton, appropriate care is carried out, in particular, inter-row cultivation, weeding, thinning, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering.

In the regions of the country, the necessary work is being carried out to grow potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops, as well as to provide the population with these products in full. Currently, caring for these crops, harvesting the grown crops, and delivering these products to markets continue on the agricultural areas.

In Dashoguz velayat, rice sowing is at the final stage, measures are being taken for further proper care of the crops, and in Lebap velayat, preparations are in full swing for the start of sowing this crop.

In Mary velayat, work is underway to prepare areas for sowing sugar beets – plowing and land leveling.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the fact that an important and responsible season for agriculture is currently ongoing and assigned the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the organized conduct of the grain harvest campaign and the coordinated work of all involved structures, as well as to monitor compliance with agro-technical standards during harvesting for cotton crops.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state noted that the wheat harvest has begun in Ahal, Mary and Lebap velayats, and it is just yet to begin in Balkan and Dashoguz velayats, and ordered to keep the grain harvest in sight in the shortest possible time and without losses, as well as proper care of crops.

Concluding the working meeting via the digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants success in solving their important tasks.
