The International Theatre Festival of Women Playwrights will be held in Istanbul from the 16th to 26th of November. The organizer of the creative forum is the General Directorate of State Theatres of Türkiye.

The festival aims to highlight local and global issues through the eyes of women playwrights from different cultures, as well as provide a platform for the presentation of outstanding productions of plays from around the world, written exclusively by women.

Representatives of modern drama from Turkmenistan can also apply to participate in the international theatre event.

To do this, you need to send an email to: istwomenplaywrightsfest@gmail.com a completed application form and a video recording of the entire performance, as well as 10 high-resolution photographs of it via a link to file-sharing services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

The number of team members should not exceed 20 people (including actors, technical and other personnel).

Applications will be accepted until the 12th of August, 2024.

As noted in the message of the festival organizers, women contribute to economic, social and cultural life, participating in it shoulder to shoulder with men, exercising their right to express their own opinions, which makes women's drama an even more significant phenomenon.
