Demand for drywall is growing

Domestic entrepreneurs, effectively utilizing opportunities created by the state for small and medium business development, produce competitive products for both domestic and foreign markets, significantly contributing to the implementation of state programs for the production of import-substituting and export-oriented goods.

One such enterprise is "Akgaýa", located in Akdash settlement of Turkmenbashi etrap, Balkan velayat. The company produces dry construction mix and drywall, widely used in finishing works. The entire production cycle at the factory, occupying 25 hectares in total, is fully automated. The annual capacity is 78,000 tons of dry construction mix and 8,000,000 square meters of drywall.

Notably, a significant portion of raw materials used in production is extracted from nearby deposits, reducing transportation costs and the final product's cost. Currently, the company not only supplies the domestic market but also exports to countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.
