On August 8, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan continued in Budapest. On the second day of the creative event, a meeting of cultural figures took place at the Heritage House in the capital of Hungary, attended by representatives of the friendly country and Turkmen students studying there.

Speakers at the meeting particularly noted the development of Turkmen-Hungarian relations in various fields, especially in the arts and culture. It was especially highlighted that some poems by the famous Hungarian poet Sándor Petőfi were translated into Turkmen and were very well received by the country's readership. Alongside this, there was also discussion about the development of library and publishing activities in Turkmenistan.

Cultural figures from both countries also noted that this year marks the 300th anniversary of the classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi, which is being widely celebrated both in Turkmenistan and abroad. Undoubtedly, the Days of Turkmenistan Culture in Hungary will give additional impetus to the study of the invaluable philosophical and poetic heritage of Magtymguly, which entered the golden treasury of world literature.
