A concert-dedication titled "Magtymguly, sözle bu şirin dilde" was successfully held at the National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly, celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and thinker of the East, Magtymguly Fragi.

The best bakhshi-sazanda from all over the country gathered for this festive musical event. Singers and musicians not only from all the velayats but even from the city of Arkadag came to pay their respects to the beloved son of the Turkmen people.

The stage design for the concert venue was executed in the eastern style of a Turkmen dwelling. Turkmen carpets, low writing tables, inkwells with long goose feathers, and saddlebags filled with books indicated that the owner of this house was a scholar, poet and philosopher.

The concert program was opened by Magtymguly himself, or rather, Yagmyr Gurbanazarov, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, in the role of Magtymguly. The poet recited his poems from memory, posed questions to himself, and sought answers. Throughout the concert, he appeared on stage several times. Then, songs composed to his poems were performed.

Thus, Turkmen folk songs created by bakhshi using Magtymguly's words were performed on stage. Among them were "Ýat bolar," "Jem bolup," "Güle meňzär," "Gözel sen" and others. In this way, the concert-dedication took on a theatrical form.

The finale of the concert-dedication was noteworthy. All participants performed the Turkmen folk song "Türkmeniň." At the conclusion of the concert, each singer and musician received a valuable gift from the Magtymguly Youth Organization, which, together with the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, organized this memorable event.
