There is little biographical data on the 17th-century lyric poet Garajaoglan, but according to the main version by literary scholars, he lost his beloved in his youth and dedicated his life to searching for her. 

The creative team of the State Theater of the city of Sivas in the Republic of Turkey performed on the stage of the Main Academic Drama Theater named after Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi the Great with a new version of the poet's love story.

Residents of a village helped Garajaoglan find his beloved. It seemed that there was no limit to the happiness of the lovers. In the production "Garajaoglan," there was an effortless ease in the performance of the Turkish actors. In addition to the stage, they actively used the aisles, bringing the action into the auditorium. A big plus for the performance was the live singing of the main character.

The audience gave a standing ovation to the creators of the play. Notably, even during their bow, the lovers did not come out together but were separated by a villager who helped them meet. The audience presented bouquets of flowers to their favorite actors.
