From October 27 to 29, Ashgabat will host the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. As part of this event, various events are planned, including screenings of feature films, exhibitions and concerts that will broaden the Turkmen audience's understanding of the rich heritage of the Armenian people.

October 27 at 17:00: The melodrama "A Piece of Sky" (1980) will be shown at the "Ashgabat" cinema. The plot is based on a work by Armenian writer and poet Vahan Totovents. The main roles in the film are played by Frunzik Mkrtchyan and Sofiko Chiaureli.

October 27 at 17:00: A series of animated films will be presented at the "Watan" concert hall.

October 28 at 17:00: The feature film "Hayrik" (1972) will be shown at the "Watan" concert hall. The word "ayrik" means "father" in Armenian. The film tells the story of a large Armenian family through the eyes of its head.

October 28 at 19:00: The official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan will take place at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center. The State Song and Dance Ensemble of Armenia named after Tatul Altunyan will perform on stage.

Before the concert, guests will be able to view an exhibition of creative works by famous Armenian film director Sergei Parajanov. 

In addition to films, he created many visual works: drawings, collages, installations, sculptures. Parajanov's unique works reflect his distinctive style and deep understanding of art.

October 29 at 17:00: Screenings of Armenian animated films will take place at the "Ashgabat" cinema.

October 29 at 17:00: The musical comedy film "Baghdasar Divorces His Wife" (1976) will be shown at the "Watan" concert hall.

October 29 at 19:00: A joint concert by masters of culture and art of Turkmenistan and Armenia will take place at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center. The final chord of the cultural program will emphasize the unity of creative traditions between both countries.

It is worth noting that a year earlier, Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were successfully held in Yerevan, which became an important step in strengthening cultural ties between our countries.

Turkmenistan and Armenia have strong partnership relations based on mutual respect and trust. Both countries strive to expand cooperation in economy, culture and diplomacy, actively working on mutually beneficial projects and exchanging cultural initiatives.
