Admirers and professionals of the art of photography of Turkmenistan are already get used to the fact that the famous photo artist, photo reporter of the State News Agency (SNA) becomes the winner and laureate of all kinds of regional and world competitions.

Just a few days ago, it became known that at the competition held under the patronage of UNESCO’s International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP), the International Association of Photographic Artists (IAAP) and the Croatian Photo Association (HFS), our countryman Vyacheslav Adamovich Sargsyan was announced as the winner of Gold Medal.

This award pleases the journalistic community of Turkmenistan, especially since it was won, it was a tough selection, in a difficult struggle with rivals from 48 countries (with 478 participants!).

Vyacheslav Sarkisian's photo work was recognized as the best. The value of the award becomes weighty when you find out that about eight thousand photographs were submitted to the competition, of which the international jury first selected two thousand, and then only 135 works were allowed to participate in the final. It is worth. However, Vyacheslav Sarkisan is the best.

It should be noted that V. Sargsyan's photographs have previously been recognized as the best, for example, the work "Student" became the best at the 2022 in the Czech Republic. That time Sarkisian passed 300 of his colleagues. On photos of Vyacheslav Adamovich's captured paintings from the life of modern Turkmenistan, the faces of ordinary people, especially young people, also traditional crafts: jewelry, carpets, national needlework, decoration of horses. The works of our countryman have been awarded in Russia, Morocco, China, the USA, the Czech Republic and other countries of the world.

The editors of the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age," congratulates the owner of the Zagreb Gold and asked him two simple questions.

- Vyacheslav Adamovich, your work has been awarded prizes at various competitions. Is this allowed by the rules?

-  There's nothing wrong. Aren't the same athletes, actors and people of creative professions awarded for the same film, performance, art or musical work? In addition, the organizers of photo contests often propose to nominate a specific work of a particular photographer for the competition.

- Experts noted that red color is dominated in your works.

- Recently, by the assignment of the Agency, I began to shoot more paintings at exhibitions of our artists. I noticed that they often use red tones. Obviously, Turkmen nation and artists associated the red color with glimmer of the sun, fire, and hearth. Beside, red is a symbol of youth and health. Based on these surveillances, I aspire to find harmony with beauty of red in everything.
