As part of the festival of young performers held at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kulieva, the Small Hall hosted a concert by the chamber orchestra under the direction of Tahir Ataev.

The chamber orchestra consists of 20 musicians, primarily students ranging from freshmen to graduates, along with some young instructors. Joining the chamber orchestra is highly prestigious for aspiring musicians, though balancing conservatory studies with orchestra participation can be challenging.

The composition of the chamber orchestra changes annually: graduating students typically leave, and promising freshmen take their places. The chamber orchestra's participation in the festival of young performers serves as a kind of exam for Tahir Ataev.

The conductor waved his baton, and the Small Hall was filled with the enchanting sounds of chamber-instrumental works. The audience enjoyed pieces such as "Walk through the city at night" by Isaak Schwartz, "On Wings of Song" by Felix Mendelssohn, "Winter" by Antonio Vivaldi, "Dance of Aisha" by Kara Karaev, and others.

The audience warmly applauded the chamber orchestra musicians, noting their excellent performance skills. The exam was passed with "excellent."
