Movies and animated films from the golden collection of "Armenfilm" are being shown in the capital's cinemas as part of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, which ceremoniously started in Turkmenistan. 

The film screening opened with "A Piece of Sky" shown at the Ashgabat cinema. This outstanding work by Armenian director Henrik Malyan told viewers a touching story about human relationships, memory and combating prejudice.

Simultaneously, animated films were shown at the Watan cinema concert center. Special attention was drawn to Robert Sahakyants' animated film "In the Blue Sea, in White Foam...", a musical fantasy based on Armenian folk tales. This film evoked nostalgic memories in adults and delighted children with its bright animation and melodic accompaniment.

On the second day, the Turkmen audience had the opportunity to see a masterpiece of Armenian cinema, the film "Hayrik," presented at the Watan cinema concert center. The audience included students, teachers, residents and guests of the capital. The deep plot and emotional richness made the viewing especially memorable and interesting for all present.

Some viewers noted that they try to attend all planned events within the Days of Armenian Culture, indicating a great interest in Armenian art and traditions.

The program of screenings of the golden collection of "Armenfilm" will conclude with the musical-comedy film "Baghdasar Divorces His Wife," based on the play "Baghdasar-Akhpar." 

Director Grigory Melik-Avakyan brought it to life in an Armenian retro style, ensuring that the film retains its charm and is even more enjoyable today. The main roles feature Frunzik Mkrtchyan and Laura Vartanyan. Songs written by Arno Babajanyan perfectly complement the film's atmosphere, giving it special harmony and mood.
