On October 30, the IV season of the intellectual project "Young Messengers of Peace", conducted by the university and the School of Young Diplomats in its composition among high school students of Turkmenistan, started at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The ambitious career-oriented project is being held for the fourth academic year in a row and is aimed at identifying and attracting the most talented, erudite youth representatives who show a special interest in history, politics and diplomacy. The best participants of the competition successfully joined the ranks of students IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The project is gaining more and more popularity among the country's schoolchildren. In September of this year, over 800 high school students from all over Turkmenistan took part in the selection test, according to the results of which 64 students were eligible to participate in the new season of the competition.
The general motto of the IV season of the project is designated as "Peacekeeping diplomacy of neutral Turkmenistan — a reliable tool for effective cooperation and sustainable development" in connection with the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust on the initiative of Turkmenistan on the basis of a special Resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
In the first game of the qualifying round of the new season of the project, eight students from schools in Ashgabat, Akhal, Dashoguz performed, Balkan and Lebap velayats.
Tasks on the topic "Foreign policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan: from the glorious past to a happy future" were offered to the players.
The judges were intently watching the course of the intense game, striving to fairly assess the knowledge, talents and abilities of the young scholars, each of whom worthily defended his position and fought for the title of winner.
The jury consisted of a senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the IIR Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turkmenistan, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Begench Karaev, Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named afterMakhtumkuli ANT, Candidate of Historical Sciences Kakajan Dzhanibekov and Senior lecturer at the Department of World History TSU named after.Makhtumkuli Shamukhammet Baymyradov. According to the results of the competition, two participants were declared winners: Ylas Agoylyev, a student of the 12th grade of secondary school No. 49 with advanced study of English and mathematics the city of Ashgabat and Arzuv Shikhyeva, a student of the 12th grade specialized school No. 24 with in-depth study of foreign languages in Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat. These students were included in the participants of the semi-final, which will be fully formed based on the results of the next seven games of the qualifying round of the competition.
The winners and participants of the first game received Certificates of Honor from the institute and memorable gifts from sponsors.

In the near future, Turkmen viewers will be able to watch the broadcast of the first opening game of the IV season of the project on the air of the national TV channel Miras, which filmed and recorded the competition together with the educational studio of the Higher School of Diplomacy.
