The first stage of the "Merdana nesil – 2024" competition begins on November 6th, announced by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization in honor of the International Day of Neutrality and the 29th anniversary of the UN General Assembly's recognition of our country's neutral status.
The competition is held among 3rd-5th grade students of general education schools with the aim of educating boys in the spirit of patriotism, respect for the traditions of courageous ancestors, and diligence. The contest will be held in four stages: November 6-15 - in general education schools across the country, November 18-23 - in etraps and cities with the participation of students who take first and second places in the first stage, November 25-December 1 - in velayats, Ashgabat and Arkadag cities with the participation of students who take first and second places in the second stage.
The final fourth stage of the competition will be held in Ashgabat in the first ten days of December, and it will be attended by students who take first and second places in the third stage. According to the competition rules, participants will have to complete three tasks: artistically tell about the courage of the Turkmen people, love for the Motherland, the heroic spirit of ancestors and the great achievements of our time (3 minutes); individually present a humorous, entertaining performance (3 minutes); perform a musical-song piece glorifying the country's achievements in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, happy childhood and friendship (5 minutes).
Based on the results of the final stage of the competition, schoolchildren who win the grand prize and took first, second and third places will be awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization. Students who actively participate and distinguish themselves in the etrap, city and velayat stages of the competition will receive certificates of honor and memorable gifts from the local Councils of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
