Creative contest "Türkmen tebigaty – ylham çeşmesi" announced

The editorial office of the "Türkmenistan" newspaper, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, announces a creative contest "Türkmen tebigaty – ylham çeşmesi" ("Turkmen Nature - Source of Inspiration") with the aim of conveying information to the general public about the wonders of native nature, the flora and fauna of the country, and ongoing environmental protection activities.

The contest is open to journalists, specialists, photographers and anyone passionate about creativity on this topic, regardless of age. Entries submitted to the contest should contain interesting and reliable information about the peculiarities of Turkmenistan's flora and fauna, unknown or little-studied natural phenomena, and images of beautiful corners of Turkmen nature during different seasons. The contest accepts works in genres such as articles, essays, travel notes and sketches, while photographic works should be presented as photo reportages.

A common condition for all contest entries is that they must not have been previously published anywhere. The works proposed for the contest should be submitted electronically to the editorial office of the "Türkmenistan" newspaper at Garaşsyzlyk şaýoly, 100, Türkmenbaşynyň erkin döredijilik mekany, or sent to the newspaper's email turkmenistan-gazeti@sanly.tm with the note "for the contest 'Türkmen tebigaty – ylham çeşmesi'". The best of the submitted works will be selected for subsequent publication in the newspaper.

Contest participants must submit personal information about their place of work or residence and phone number along with their contest entry to the newspaper's editorial office. Entries are accepted until December 1, 2024, and the contest results will be announced during December. The winners of the contest will be awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts from the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
