Modern greenhouses are the result of large-scale investments and are a shining example of the effective use of technology and private enterprise to meet the needs of the population.

One of the largest projects in this direction is the greenhouse in Duzmergen, located on the slopes of the Balkan Mountains. It belongs to Halmammet Amanmammedov, an active member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The greenhouse is equipped with advanced equipment made in Turkey and the Netherlands and plays an important role in the process of providing the country with environmentally friendly vegetables and fruits.

The latest technologies are used here, including heating, humidification and irrigation systems, which helps for efficient cultivation of products that meet high agricultural standards. In 2020, a similar facility was commissioned in Balkanabat, which also contributes to increasing agricultural production.

The total tomato harvest to be collected in the greenhouses is expected to be over a thousand tons per season. The five-hectare greenhouses provided about sixty jobs.

In addition, greenhouse products are supplied abroad, including to the Russian Federation, where they are in high demand due to their environmental friendliness and quality.

Modern greenhouses in Duzmergen and Balkanabat are not only an example of the effective use of technology and entrepreneurial initiatives, but also an important contribution to ensuring food security in the country, improving the quality of life of citizens and developing the economy as a whole.
