In the year, the motto of which is “The Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi”, various events dedicated to the 300^th anniversary of the birth of the great turkmen poet Magtymguly are being held in all corners of the country.

One of them is the creative competition “Adyň dünýä doldy, dana Pyragy”, organized by the Balkan velayat Association of Trade Unions together with the editorial board of the newspaper “Balkan”.

Citizens of the velayat who are interested in creative activities took part in the competition. And recently, the award ceremony for the winners of the competition was held in the central library of the velayat. In the nomination "Poetry" the main prize was awarded to a citizen of Balkanabat, honored journalist of Turkmenistan Amanmyrat Maev. The first place was taken by the teacher of the secondary school №10 of the Esenguly etrap Gurbanmammet Soyunjov, the second place was taken by a teacher from the secondary school №15 of the Bereket etrap Janegul Gurbanova, and the third place was awarded to the director of television and radio programs of the velayat television and radio studio Nazgul Annagulyeva.

In the category “Stories”, the main prize was awarded to a teacher from the secondary school №9 of the Balkanabat Taganmyrat Mamiyev. According to the jury's decision, the first place in this nomination was awarded to the teacher of the velayat health and rehabilitation educational complex Guychnazar Tashliev, the second and third places were shared by the teacher of the secondary school №3 of the Etrek etrap Dortguly Tagandurdyev and a teacher from the secondary school №5 of the same etrap Akbabek Garayeva.

In the nomination "Articles" the main prize was received by a resident of the Bereket etrap Hangylych Tagangylyjov. First place was awarded to the doctor at the Bereket etrap hospital Berdigylych Mammedov, the second place was taken by the teacher of the specialized secondary school №23 of the Balkanabat Garaja Hudayberdiyev, and the third place was taken by the specialist of the enterprise "Gyzylarbatetrapgaz" of the "Balkangazüpjünçilik" department Muhammet Muhammedov.

The winners and participants of the competition were awarded certificates of honor and valuable gifts.
