During the winter vacations, the Turkmen State Puppet Theater hosts New Year performances for children and their parents. The world of fairy tale characters comes to life right from the foyer of the theater. 

Before settling down comfortably in the auditorium, the children are waiting for a New Year's carnival, a round dance around the Christmas tree and, of course, the long-awaited meeting with the main characters of the winter festivities. But let's talk about everything in order...

As always, Baba Yaga wants to take away the holiday from the children so that no one sings, dances and has fun. The fairy tale characters who came to the children's party help the jolly Shadyanch and his assistant to placate the evil one.

Amusing contests of wit, moving games and the infectious positivity of the kids help dispel the gloomy shadows. Soon the kids are greeted by the enthusiastic Ayaz baba and his granddaughter Garpamyk. Together they fill the space with an atmosphere of real magic, lighting the lights on the Christmas tree. Even the ominously  Baba Yaga gradually softens and, unable to resist, starts dancing.

Under the flickering fairy lights, children are invited to a cozy auditorium, where they will be presented a performance based on the tale of the golden baby chicken "Altyn jüýje". Vivid characters come to life on the stage, who enthusiastically tell entertaining stories. Young viewers are watching with bated breath every turn of the exciting scene.

The New Year's performance "Täze ýylda körpe nesil şatlanýar" takes place daily from January 2 to January 10. You can visit the New Year's carnival and get positive emotions for the whole year at 12:00, 15:00 and 18:00. Tickets are available at the casse.
