Alumni of the academic program for young women leaders, “Study of U.S. Institutions” (SUSI), gathered at the Global Leadership Forum (GLOW), held in the capital of the Czech Republic from January 5 to 9.
Organized by the Global Leadership Consortium with support from the U.S. Department of State, the GLOW forum brought together 78 participants from around the world — alumni of the SUSI program over the past three years.
Among them, Chinar Garlyeva, a second-year student of the Faculty of Cyberphysical Systems of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, took part in the forum.
The event was organized to equip future leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully implement meaningful community projects. Through interactive sessions, mentoring, and peer learning, participants improved their project development skills, broadened their worldview, and built a strong support network.
The diverse projects, including initiatives in the field of environmental sustainability, education reform, women empowerment, demonstrated the capabilities of young leaders. The projects widely reflected the innovative spirit, fresh ideas, creative solutions and scientific approach of the authors.
The GLOW Forum provided a critical platform for women leaders to not only develop their projects, but also to connect with like-minded individuals, build strong relationships, and amplify their collective impact.
The Global Forum in Prague was a significant step in the development and promotion of women's leadership qualities, and also highlighted the important role of women in building a sustainable future at the community level and around the world.
