The youth chamber orchestra under the direction of Rasul Klichev celebrated its 15th anniversary with a bright concert called “Magic Melodies of Love”. For fans of the team, the name is not by chance - the orchestra has already turned to this topic, but the anniversary program presented a completely new interpretation of eternal feelings.
Over the years of its existence, the orchestra has established itself as one of the most striking and interesting musical groups of the country, constantly striving for the new peaks of skill. So the last concert was another confirmation of this, offering the audience a kaleidoscope of musical works inspired by romantic love lyrics.
The host of the evenings - Selbi Yomudova, reminded the audience of the comprehensive power of love, permeating our whole life - from love for the Motherland and to love our loved ones in romantic manifestation.
The concert program was full of variety, featuring both modern works "You are in my September" by Igor Krutoy and melodies from the movie "Shahsenem and Gharib" by Eduard Khadabatian.
The performances of soloists gave a special atmosphere to the evening. Maisa Niyazova touched the hearts of the audience by singing the Spanish ballad "Hijo de la Luna" ("Son of the Moon"), telling the legend associated with it. Dovran Shammyev demonstrated his vocal skills by performing arias from the musical "Notre Dame de Paris". The performance of Mansur Sharipov, who captivated the audience with his charm and powerful voice, performing an encore of Arno Babajanyan's song "Wedding" became a bright finale.
Instrumental numbers also caused delight. Saxophonist Kakajan Khudaiberdiev and thrombonist Dovran Gylydzhov shone in the duet, and Selbiniaz Mulkamanova presented a soulful violin solo, performing a work by the Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.
The culmination of the concert was the block of works by the Italian composer-neoclassic Ludovico Einaudi, known for his soundtracks for the films “1+1”, “Black Swan” and many others. The piano part was performed by Diana Melkumova.
The audience greeted the musicians with stormy applause. Rasul Klichev, who headed the Youth Chamber Orchestra in his youth, is now a mature musician, Artistic Director and chief conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan.
"We don't often perform in this line–up, but for us these concerts are always special and touching," shared Rasul Klichev. – Exactly 15 years ago, we started our activity with the Youth Chamber Orchestra, and it has grown into a large symphony orchestra, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year.
The anniversary concert of the Youth Chamber Orchestra became a real celebration of music and love, leaving vivid impressions for everyone.
