Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and khyakims of the velayats to discuss issues related to the country’s agricultural sector and the work carried out in the regions.

The first to speak was the khyakim of the Ahal velayat T. Nurmyradov, who reported on the current seasonal activities in the fields of the region.

As noted, thanks to the enormous opportunities created by the President of Turkmenistan, seasonal work is currently continuing in the agricultural lands of the velayat.

In particular, mineral fertilizers are being applied to the wheat fields and watered.

At the same time, the necessary activities are being carried out for the organized start of cotton sowing.

Along with this, in areas sown with potatoes and vegetable and melon crops, in accordance with agro-technical standards, care and watering are carried out.

As part of the ongoing work aimed at turning the country into a blooming garden, measures are being taken to organize the spring season of landscaping campaign, as well as a nationwide tree planting campaign.

It was also reported on the progress of preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the National Spring Holiday and the progress of construction of cultural, social and industrial facilities that are planned to be commissioned in the velayat this year.

Summarizing the report, the head of state noted that strict adherence to agricultural technology standards during seasonal agricultural activities facilitates obtaining rich harvests and improving the quality of products, instructing in this regard to monitor the work in this direction.

In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure the quality and compliance with the deadlines for commissioning various facilities.

Then, the khyakim of the Balkan velayat H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, in order to obtain a rich harvest this year, wheat is currently being cared for in the velayat in accordance with agricultural technology standards.

At the same time, preparations are underway for the organized conduct of cotton sowing at a high level.

Seasonal work continues in the fields of the velayat sown with potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops.

Along with this, measures are being taken to organize the spring greening campaign and the nationwide tree planting campaign.

Information was provided on the progress of preparations for cultural events dedicated to the National Spring Festival, widely celebrated in our country, as well as on the progress of construction of facilities scheduled for commissioning in the velayat within the framework of the country's socio-economic development programs.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of the ongoing seasonal agricultural work and instructed the khyakim to ensure that it is carried out at a high organizational level.

In addition, the head of state ordered to monitor the progress of the work planned for the current year in the region within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then the khyakim of the Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

In accordance with the tasks set to further strengthen the country’s food abundance, the fields of the region are being tended in compliance with agricultural standards.

In the areas planned for sowing cotton, leveling work has been completed, and planning and watering are currently underway.

At the same time, potato and onion sowing continues in the velayat.

Along with this, appropriate steps are being taken to prepare for the nationwide tree planting campaign and the spring greening campaign.

In addition, it was reported on the preparations for the celebrations in the region on the occasion of the National Spring Festival, as well as on the progress of construction of facilities that are planned to be commissioned this year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the proper implementation of seasonal activities currently underway in agriculture is one of the main conditions for the effectiveness of farmers’ work and obtaining a rich harvest, giving the khyakim relevant instructions in this regard.

The head of state also instructed to monitor the high-quality and timely execution of construction work at facilities planned for commissioning in the region this year as part of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then the head of the Lebap velayat administration M. Annanepesov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, in order to successfully achieve the objectives set by the President of Turkmenistan to ensure food abundance in the country, the wheat fields of the region are being tended, in particular, by fertilizing with minerals and watering.

Appropriate measures are being taken to prepare the land for cotton sowing and its organized start.

The areas sown with potatoes and onions are being tended according to agro-technical standards.

At the same time, the region is preparing for the spring greening season and the nationwide tree planting campaign.

It was also reported that events are being organized on the occasion of the National Spring Festival and the construction of cultural, social and industrial facilities planned for commissioning this year in accordance with the Program for Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for proper implementation of current agricultural activities in the region and gave the khyakim relevant instructions in this regard.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the quality and timely execution of construction work at the facilities planned for commissioning in the velayat this year.

Then the khyakim of the Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, in order to fulfill the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan to grow a rich wheat harvest in the country, wheat fields are currently being fertilized with minerals and watered.

In addition, appropriate measures are being taken to prepare for cotton sowing and to conduct it at a high organizational level.

Along with this, the region continues to care for potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops.

As part of the implementation of the program to turn the country into a blooming garden, the region is preparing for the spring greening campaign and a nationwide tree planting campaign.

It was informed on the preparation of cultural events in the region dedicated to the National Spring Festival, as well as on the progress of construction of cultural, social and industrial facilities, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the need for an integrated approach to solving the upcoming tasks of obtaining high yields of agricultural crops, ensuring the coordinated work of all involved structures and in this regard gave the khyakim relevant instructions.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the implementation of the work planned for this year in the region in accordance with the programs for the socio-economic development of the country.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As noted, these days, maintenance work continues on the wheat fields of the regions in accordance with agricultural technology standards, in particular, fertilizing with minerals and watering.

At the same time, preparations are underway for sowing cotton and its implementation within the established agricultural timeframes.

Along with this, in order to increase the production of potatoes, vegetables, melons and other crops in the country and provide the population with them in sufficient quantities, planting and maintenance of crop areas continues on agricultural lands in the regions.

The Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the preparations for the spring greening campaign and the organization of nationwide tree planting campaigns to protect the environment and ensure ecological well-being in the country.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that agriculture is one of the key sectors of the national economy, ensuring food abundance in the country, and therefore it is important to further develop this area in accordance with the requirements of the time, combine national farming traditions with advanced world experience in the manufacture of agricultural products, giving the Deputy Prime Minister a number of instructions.

Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state once again emphasized the importance of current agro-technical measures and in this regard ordered to strictly monitor the preparation for sowing cotton in the regions and its implementation within the established agro-technical deadlines, as well as to ensure compliance with agricultural standards in field care, secondary fertilizing with minerals and irrigation.

At the same time, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to strictly control the work on caring for potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops, to ensure timely payments for the work performed between cotton and wheat producers and service organizations and enterprises in the regions, and to thoroughly prepare for the nationwide tree planting campaign in the regions and the spring greening campaign.

The head of state also instructed to hold the events planned for the National Spring Holiday at a high level, to take appropriate measures to provide regional markets and stores with food products during the holidays, to strictly control the progress of construction of cultural, social and industrial facilities planned for commissioning in the velayats this year.
