Great philosophers of the East noted the importance of education and application of acquired knowledge in life. On the 12th of June, our country celebrates Science Day. On the eve of this date, the State Museum of the State Cultural Centre opened an exhibition called «Science is the Wealth of Man». It consists mainly of exhibits in the format of documentary photo information related to natural sciences, as well as rare archaeological and geological finds.

Among the first visitors to the exhibition were Professor of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev Nuryagdy Shihanov, Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan, Senior Lecturer of the State Academy of Arts Azat Annayev, as well as Honoured Cultural Worker of Turkmenistan, poetess Oguljemal Charyyeva. They looked with interest at the exhibits - samples of minerals discovered by geologists on the territory of our country. Among them are limestone, marble onyx, chalcedony, sulfur, celestine, anhydrite and other minerals.

But what struck visitors most of all was the fossilised remains of ancient animals related to paleontology. These are ammonites, shells, sea urchins. Of the archaeological finds, the golden head of a bull, discovered during excavations of Altyn-Depe in 1972, attracted special attention.

It is noteworthy that the exposition dedicated to Science Day ended with a photograph of the luxurious building of the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. Nearby are books about various scientific developments of Turkmen scientists. Among them is the first issue of 2025 of the periodical «Ylym we tehnika».

The exhibition also features portraits of prominent Turkmen scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of science in our country.
