Celebrations dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence are gaining momentum in the Daşoguz velayat. «Bagtyýar Diýar Garaşsyzlyk toýun toýlaýar» was the title of a song and music celebration held at the Gubadag Cultural Centre.

It was organised by the Boldumsaz etrap hakimlik and the etrap department of culture. Local performing groups presented a variety of musical numbers and patriotic compositions glorifying the Motherland and its might. The performances and congratulations from residents were filled with a sense of immense pride for their beloved Fatherland, its achievements in all spheres of life, and their wishes for continued prosperity.

At the same time, another celebratory event, «Mukaddes Garaşsyzlyk-baky buýsanjymyz», took place at the Görogly etrap cultural centre. This event was also organised by the etrap administration and the etrap department of culture. Through vocal and instrumental performances and masterfully executed folklore compositions, artists expressed their boundless love for their homeland, celebrating the beauty of their native nature, cultural traditions, and the spiritual values of their people. Thematic exhibitions, including a book exhibition and an exhibition of children's drawings, were also held in the Centre building.

The events that took place demonstrated the sincere love of residents for their homeland, its rich traditions, and historical heritage. Various celebrations organised in honour of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence are currently taking place in other districts of the velayat.
