The Ashgabat Karatedo Championship, organized by the relevant Federation of Turkmenistan, was held in the capital's sports school for young Olympians.

Boys and girls aged 8 to 24 participated in the competition - more than 240 athletes representing 19 sports clubs in the capital: Khemra, Aykhan, Asman, Seytli, Togrul bek, Gyorogly, etc.

The competitions were held in the disciplines of kata (demonstration of exercises - fight with an invisible opponent) and kumite (combat sparring) and were broadcast on the online platform, www.myuventex.com in accordance with the requirements of the World Karate Federation (WKF).

The first line in the standings was occupied by representatives of the Hemra club, who won 10 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze medals.

In second place are the athletes of the Seytli club, who have 5 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze medals.

The prize-winning three were closed by the pupils of the Asman club, on whose account 4 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

On May 27, the Anau Sports School will host the Ahal Velayat Karatedo Championship.
