The teams "Ahal" and "Shagadam" from the city of Turkmenbashi will compete in the final of the Cup of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan-2022. This was determined by the results of the semi-final matches.

In the first of them, "Akhal", thanks to accurate shots by Arslanmurad Amanov (37th minute) and Arzuvkuli Saparkuliyev (89th), won against "Ashgabat" - 2:0.

The second finalist in the Balkan derby between "Shagadam" and the Balkanabat "Nebitchi" had to be determined in a series of 11-meter penalty kicks. The main time of the game in the duel between these teams ended in a draw 0:0. In the post-match penalties, Shagadam players were more successful - 4:1.

According to the results of the last season, "Ahal" took the second place in the championship of Turkmenistan, and "Shagadam" - the third.

Ashgabat and Nebitchi will meet in the match for the 3rd place.

Last year, "Ashgabat" became the bronze medalist of the tournament, defeating Mary "Energetik" in the meeting for 3rd place - 1:0.
