14 athletes will represent Turkmenistan at the international judo Grand Prix tournament starting on July 15 in Zagreb (Croatia).

According to the organizers of the competition, the tournament brought together 503 judoists (288 men and 215 women) from 69 countries who will compete for medals in seven men's and seven women's weight categories.

As part of the men's team of Turkmenistan, Aybek Omirov, Hakberdi Jumayev (both in the weight category up to 60 kg), Hekim Agamammedov, Serdar Rahimov (both up to 66 kg), Isa Gayradov, Ilham Kemalov (both up to 73 kg), Dayanch Omirov and Mammedali Achyldyyev (both - up to 81 kg).

And in the women's team of Turkmenistan, Aksoltan Hojageldiyeva, Rayhon Shavkadova (both up to 48 kg), Sayara Roziyeva (up to 52 kg), Leyla Umidova, Gozel Novruzova (both up to 57 kg) and Zulhumar Dashkinova (up to 63 kg) will compete for medals.

The tournament will end on July 17th.
