With a victory over the team of Kazakhstan in five games, the volleyball players of the national team of Turkmenistan began their performance at the Central Asian Challenge Cup that started in Bishkek.

The men's national teams of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are fighting for the honorary trophy.

The first match was not easy for our volleyball players. They lost the first two parts - 19:25 and 20:25. However, in the next three, they prevailed - 25:21, 25:22 and 15:13 and eventually won a strong-willed victory - 3:2.

In another match of the first round, the national team of Kyrgyzstan confidently defeated the team of Uzbekistan in three games - 3:0 (25:18; 25:17; 25:16).

In the second round, the Turkmen team will play with rivals from Kyrgyzstan, and the national teams of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will play a match between themselves.

The tournament will end on July 27th.
