Olympiad in Higher Mathematics: 5 winners and 16 prize-winners

The results of the Olympiad in higher mathematics, held by the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, have been announced.

According to the results of the Olympiad, five winners were determined. Among them were students of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction Kadyrberdy Annabaev and Dzhepbar Asgarov, the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi Melike Jumayeva and Gulnur Shamuradova, and the Magtymguly Turkmen State University Resul Shamukhammedov.

The seven winners - second place winners were students of the above-mentioned universities, as well as the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country and the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan.

Nine third places were taken by students of the Ya. Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, the Institute of National Security of Turkmenistan, the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of the country, the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the country and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and sports.

The winners and prize-winners of the mathematical competition were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

In general, about fifty students of domestic universities performed at the site of the Olympiad. From each university, according to the rules of the competition, no more than three students took part.

The subject Olympiad was held with the aim of assessing the level of knowledge, identifying the most talented and capable students, stimulating the educational, cognitive and research activities of young people, developing the skills of independent work of students, increasing their interest in in-depth study of the exact and natural sciences.
