II Open International Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics: 33 winners and 181 prize-winners

The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan announced the results of the II Open International Internet Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics, held by the university among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.

According to the results of individual and team student competitions, 33 winners and 181 prize-winners were determined.

27 winners have been named in the individual standings of the Olympiad. 11 of them were won by students of Turkmen universities.

Among them are 5 students of the university-organizer of the Olympiad - Abdulla Rejepov, Shohrat Babamyradov, Dovlet Suvhanberdiyev, Ayna Yazjumayeva and Gyzylgul Gylychgeldiyeva. 2 first places were taken by students of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute - Guvanch Annalyyev and Kakageldi Agajanov. Another 2 students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly - Kerim Cherkezov and Govshut Orazgeldiyev. Yazmuhammet Movlamov (Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan) and Orebay Hojayev (Engineering and Technological University of Turkmenistan named after Oguzhan) also received the first place.

48 students from Turkmenistan won 10 second and 38 third places. Prizes were awarded to students of the above universities, as well as the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakayev, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Structure, the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Nyyazov, the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi, Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics, International University for the Humanities and Development.

16 winners of individual competitions are students of universities in Russia and China, who also won 36 second places. Third places are similarly for the most part distributed among Russian and Chinese participants. Representatives from Belarus, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, Kyrgyzstan were also added to the number of these winners.

In the team part of the Olympiad, 6 winners were named. The absolute winner, who won the Grand Prix of the Olympiad, was a team of students from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. 4 first places were rightfully received by participating teams from China. The team of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan is also among the winners.

6 second and 13 third places in the team tournament were awarded to teams from Turkmenistan, Russia and Belarus.

The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

In general, more than 130 students from 16 universities of Turkmenistan and about 350 students from 59 universities from 16 countries of the world spoke at the site of the II Open International Internet Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics.
