As the organizers note, the states of Central Asia and the Caspian region, being at a strategically important hub of geographically advantageous transport links, are putting forward initiatives to implement large-scale projects to create a multi-profile international transport, transit and logistics infrastructure.
These projects indicate the need to consolidate joint efforts to create favourable conditions and increase the volume of cargo transportation from Central Asia to China and Europe. An important character is the political and diplomatic activity carried out within the framework of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of States of Central Asia, and cooperation in the «Central Asia + 1» format. In this context, establishing contacts among the youth of the participating countries will be a significant support for the development of friendly, multilateral and mutually beneficial relations aimed at the long term.
