The Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan opened a book exhibition, which is organized by the university in cooperation with the State Library of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan.

Book editions at the exhibition, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and philosopher of the East Magtymgyly Pyragy, tell about the life and work of genius. The thematic book collection includes immortal works of the genius poet and thinker, published in Turkmen and foreign languages, books by various authors about Magtymguly and much more.

The content of the exhibition included the literary and philosophical works of the Respected Hero-Arkadag, donated to the Turkmen people and dedicated to our Motherland, its history and modernity, the ancient rich culture of the Turkmen people, the national spiritual and moral values and noble traditions.

The exhibition is open to all visitors until May 5 this year. During this period the university will hold a number of thematic creative and cultural events. Book exhibition and other events at the Institute are held in honor of the proclamation of the motto of 2023 in Turkmenistan «Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar» and the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy.

The program of events is a creative evening with the participation of teachers and students, where undergraduate students of the Institute will perform with an artistic reading of extracts from the works of Hero-Arkadag and poems of Magtymguly in foreign languages.

The exhibition will also include a round table. It will be attended by employees of the State Library of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan, teachers and university students. The meeting will be devoted to the great thinker and philosopher, the classical poet Magtymguly, who served by all his creativity his native people, the great goals of unity, cohesion and peace, the building of an independent state.
